Our Outreach Programs
At Calgary Rhema Church, we believe that the church is not meant to stay within its four walls. Jesus commanded us to love our neighbors, and we strive to fulfill that mandate by addressing the practical, emotional, and social needs of our community in Northeast Calgary.
Newcomer & Immigrant Support
Northeast Calgary is beautifully diverse. We assist new Canadians in settling into their new home by providing community connections, basic ESL (English as a Second Language) conversational groups, and navigating local resources to help them flourish.
Food & Essentials Assistance
With rising costs of living, many families are struggling. We organize monthly community food hamper distributions, providing groceries and essential items to families facing food insecurity in our immediate neighborhood.
Family Support Services
Strong families build strong communities. We offer faith-based family support, pre-marital counseling preparation, and referrals to professional services for those experiencing crisis, grief, or relational difficulties.
NE Calgary Community Events
We love our neighborhood! Throughout the year, we host free events such as summer block parties, youth sports days, and multicultural celebrations to foster unity and joy in our local area.
